Here is the official episode synopsis:
Armed with the knowledge that Alison is alive, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer have more questions now than ever before in an all-new episode of “Pretty Little Liars,” entitled “Who’s In The Box?,” airing Tuesday, January 7 (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT). Trying to put the pieces together Hanna comes up with the idea that if they find out who is really buried in Ali’s grave it may lead to much needed answers. But as the girls search, Emily has trouble dealing with how she feels about Alison being alive.
Meanwhile, Caleb returns to Rosewood, and Ezra has clandestine meetings with Mona and Aria. We're focusing on the new sneak peek for the episode for this post though. In the sneak peek, it shows Hanna, Spencer and Emily seemingly in a classroom talking about what Hanna found out about who she thinks is in Ali's grave.
Hanna tells the girls that she has done some research and found a girl from Cortland called Sara Harvey who went missing around the same time Ali did, and her parents think she ran off with a boy. She's blonde, same age and she's 'sort of Ali's size'. Hanna mentions that it's not too far away and it's the same timing. Then Hanna tells Spencer and Emily about e-mailing Sara's friends saying 'We have some things in common and I think we should talk, it could be like a support group thing'. Then -A puts a video on which says about school and then a message comes up on the screen saying:
Ali, Ali Oxen-free, whoever finds her gets to keep her -A
And the girls ask eachother if they just got dared.
We think that this sneak peek gives a real insight into what the girls are going to be doing/looking for this season.

Spencer is still on Santa’s naughty list because she killed Sarah Harvey and is A when spencer killed her
Spencer and Allison is clear from Bethany Murder Allison stated she had nothing to do with Bethany Dying but Jessica left two Christmas gifts in the piano 1 was for allison and the other one is Bethany’s Jessica asked Allison to give Bethany the yellow dress
When Jessica and her family moved out of the house when they found out that allison disappeared Jessica stored a lot of allison stuff in the attic like the letter that spencer found Jessica knew that Bethany and Allison were still in contact by writing letters because allison didn’t want to hurt Bethany i saw the episode where Jessica went to the church dress as a Black Swan and dressed like a Carol Grunwald is back and she says allison its time to tell them who A is and why Bethany and Sarah die that night and why allison went missing the lairs dont know anything about DiLaurentis family
i just wanted to know why would Bethany be writing letters to allison on the labor day weekend when sarah was MIA thou’s letter could’ve been 2 to 3 days earlier before the labor day weekend i really dont think allison lure Bethany back o rosewood Bethany wanted to come back and to warn allison about her mother and both of them were putting he puzzles together and the next part of it was allison wanted to hang out with her old friends and Bethany was standing outside understanding everything and she got so upset and she let her anger out because she wanted to hang out with them too but allison was being allison and didn’t want Bethany there and she was about to put her furry on bethany and what the lairs dont know
I am a huge Allison fan I am not 100 percent sure that allison has nothing to do with mona death and the reason is she was somewhere else and probably with Rosewood PD Holbrook and somehow I fiquried out that allison boyfriend is Holbrook and I am asking her why allison there are fishes in the sea and I think it’s better for her to find a teenage boy what allison needs to do is to stay 100 yards away from ce ce and her family because her family is messed up and some how I feel ce ce and courtney are on the a team and not in the picture because both of them somehow are always on the run from rosewood PD
