Pretty Little Liars 5x14: Episode Synopsis revealed!

Hey everyone! So, on January 6th, Pretty Little Liars will return to our TV screens for the premiere of the second part of season 5. I'm sure a lot of you are just as excited as I am for the new episodes so I figured, why not write a post about the episode title, promos and official synopsis. 

The Episode is called 'Through a Glass, Darkly' and here is the official network synopsis:

Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer are determined to prove Alison killed Mona in “Through a Glass, Darkly,” the winter season premiere of ABC Family’s hit original series “Pretty Little Liars,” premiering Tuesday, January 6th (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT). Fans can prepare for the return to Rosewood in an all-day marathon starting at 12:00 PM (ET/PT) and running up to the one-hour winter season premiere at 8:00 PM (ET/PT).

Three months have passed, and Mona’s friends and family are still mourning their loss and more adamant than ever that Alison had something to do with Mona’s death. Ready to put “A’s” game to an end and get justice for Mona, the PLLs ramp up their search for evidence that could prove Alison killed Mona. But with Alison claiming her innocence and having a seemingly airtight alibi, the Liars may have to resort to more shady tactics to put Ali away.

Meanwhile, Emily and Paige reach a crossroad in their relationship, and Aria starts to worry about her future.

How The A Stole Christmas: Episode Recap!!

Hello everyone! I'm finally doing my episode recap post on the Christmas episode (almost a week later, oops!) but I just want to express how much I loved the episode and how good it was, in my opinion. Anyway, my recap is going to be super quick (probably more like bullet points but some people like that better, right?). Oh, and if you hadn't noticed - I've given my blog a 'lil makeover and I'm kinda lovin' it, I'm not gonna lie. 

The following post contains spoilers so if you haven't watched the episode and do not want to know what happens, please do not continue reading.

Mona is back (well, in Ali's dreams anyway), and fueling some creepy flashbacks - the first was a flashback of Alison playing the piano as a young girl, and finding two yellow dresses hidden inside the piano itself. Mrs D finds her with these dresses and basically makes Alison lie about, saying to her father that there was only one - but who was the other dress for?

Jenna and Sydney are friends 'friends' with Alison, but only because they're scared of her. Oh, and they're pretty confident she killed Mona - no biggie. 

Cece Drake has returned to Rosewood, and she's all kitted out in a white cloak - how very festive. Oh, and she's offering a couple of warnings about Ali's former BFFs - the liars. 

The girls (along with the help of Lucas, who's dressed as Santa, and Paige) think they're following Alison and her friend out of the ball but when they finally corner the two girls, it's actually two twins who are dressed exactly like Ali, complete with blonde wigs and Alison masks - creepy!! 

Mona is taking Alison on a field trip of Rosewood, and that includes the church (where Ali lies in a coffin and her mother is there, who informs her 'They'll be coming for you soon', but yeah it's all in a day's work isn't it?).

Alison and Detective Holbrook? Well, Ali may have made out with him at the ball, and he may be a bad cop - and helping Alison? Only time will tell...

Spencer and Hanna go on a treasure hunt - in the DiLaurentis house. Hanna finds a box full of letters to Alison, which includes a letter from Bethany Young herself, and it turns out that Ali did actually know Bethany - and she invited her to spend Labour Day weekend with her in Rosewood! It was all looking good on the girls' little treasure hunt, until it was interrupted by (guess who?!) -A, with a huuuuuge knife!

The girls (and boys, along with Paige) decide to have a Christmas meal to celebrate, complete with Alison spying from outside, I mean theres not really much else to do - they are snowed in, after all. They then go outside to see a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, and think it's a Christmas miracle, but their happiness is destroyed when the lights on the barn turn on, and illuminate a message from A - 'Merry Christmas, Bitches!'

Paige is leaving Rosewood and heading off to California with her family, for good. 

Pretty Little Liars returns with it's Winter premiere on Tuesday, January 6th 2015 at 8pm on ABC Family - it's not long now!

Just a quick update...

Hey everyone!

I'm just writing this post super quickly to say I'm so sorry I've not been as active on my blog as I was towards the first half of this year. I'm in my final year of proper school so there are literally so many exams and mocks to do and I've been crazy busy! I did hope to get some posts written and posted during the week of Halloween, as we had a week off school but unfortunately I didn't manage to do that. 

I have managed to post a few edits on my Instagram account, so if you want to follow me on there it's @love4prettylittleliars. I am super busy up until Christmas, as I have a load of coursework due in, along with two weeks of mock exams but I have one weekend where I'm not doing anything at all so I'm hoping to get some more edits and posts written and uploaded then. I'm also going to dedicate some time to write up an episode recap for the Christmas episode when it airs (who else is excited for that?!). 

I just want to let you guys know that I am actively trying to write posts/make edits etc. and it shouldn't be long before I post a couple of proper posts - however, due to the amount of schoolwork I'm going to be getting, my posts may not be as regular in the coming weeks.

Bethany Young - Ali's grave: THEORY

I've been thinking about the revelation, of Bethany Young being revealed as the girl who was in Alison's grave, a lot lately and it has made me think a lot about if I believe that she is that girl. So I kinda have a theory!

My theory is that Bethany Young was not the girl originally buried in the grave. If you think about it, we never knew anything about Bethany Young before this revelation came about in the 100th episode - surely one of the girls would have come across her name when searching for missing girls around the same time Alison disappeared, right? Another reason which leads me to believe that Bethany was not the original girl in the grave is that, in 'It Happened That Night' (which is episode one of season three), 'A' stole the body from the grave and sent the girls body parts (teeth and finger bones specifically), which we believe to be from that body, so there would have been parts missing - surely the police would have noticed that there wasn't a full body, right? So when 'A' dug up the body and stole it, it would have been the perfect opportunity to switch the bodies - maybe 'A' had something at stake and needed protection? Maybe there was something incriminating to them in that grave? Something that could lead the police to them? 

Another idea that has popped into my head quite a bit is that, Bethany Young could be a decoy, just like Tabitha Clark was in the PLL book series. If you haven't read the books, 'A' used Tabitha Clark to trick the girls into thinking she was actually real Ali - I won't go into much detail because I don't want to spoil it too much for anyone who is reading the series, if you haven't read them, I do really recommend the series. It's so addictive, amazing novels! But anyway, I was thinking that maybe Tabitha Clark could be a decoy for the original girl in the grave - but why? I'm not sure why, but it could be because of what I mentioned earlier - maybe there was something about her or with her that could affect 'A' or lead someone to 'A'.

5.12 'Taking This One to the Grave' episode synopsis revealed!

With Alison leading them down a dangerous path and “A” barring them from telling the police the truth, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer feel trapped and are desperate to find a way out of this mess. With nothing else to lose, could the PLLs lose everything by putting their faith in a possibly untrustworthy ally? Meanwhile, Alison begins to build up her own army now that the PLLs have turned their back on her.

5.11 'No One Here Can Love Or Understand Me' episode synopsis revealed!

Melissa finally tells Spencer what she knows regarding the night Ali disappeared. But what is Spencer supposed to do with the knowledge? Knowing something is off about Alison’s story, Emily is on the hunt for answers on her own. She enlists Ezra’s help in finding out more about Cyrus and his past connection to Alison.

Meanwhile, Hanna asks Spencer and Toby for help with Caleb’s drinking problem.

5.10 'A Dark Ali' episode synopsis revealed!

The pressure is on for Alison to identify the man police have in custody for her kidnapping, but the Liars know if she does it would be sending an innocent man to prison and possibly walking right into an “A” trap. With Emily trying to convince Ali not to play into “A’s” hand, Spencer comes up with a plan B in case Ali decides to make the wrong decision.

Meanwhile, fed up with all of the Ali drama, Hanna tries to lead a “normal” teenage life.

Meanwhile, Emily tries to find information linking Alison to Noel and Spencer makes a surprising discovery at the eye doctor.

Alison moves into the Marin house when her dad is out of town. Now forced to live with the one person she is trying to avoid, Hanna retreats further into abusing alcohol and ends up in a sticky situation. Spencer and Emily pursue a dangerous lead to uncover the mystery of the dead girl in Alison's grave.

So, firstly I want to say sorry for not posting for almost a month! It's crazy how time flies! I will try and post a couple of theories throughout the next few weeks, as I am off school for 6 weeks and do not go back until September. If anyone has any post requests, or theories they want me to post, let me know in the comments. 5.06: Run, Ali, Run! Episode synopsis revealed!

With the town of Rosewood trying to get back to normal, the liars - especially Ali - are far from okay after the latest “accident”. Alison starts to reconsider her decision about coming home, and the possibility of leaving for good. But Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer are determined to keep her safe in Rosewood and to figure out who and what is behind this latest incident. Meanwhile, Caleb also starts second-guessing his return, and Ezra dives into his research to help find answers that will help the liars.

5.05: Miss Me x 100 episode synopsis revealed!

The day has finally arrived for Alison's first day back at Rosewood High. However, the girls nor Alison are not really ready for it. Determined to put on a brave face, Alison returns to also help heal the damage she did years ago. But are apologies enough for those who Alison has hurt in the past? Not if Mona and her army have anything to say about it. Meanwhile, Caleb and an old foe return to Rosewood.

5.04: Thrown From The Ride episode synopsis revealed!

With Ali now back in Rosewood, she attempts to regain the role of leader of the group, but she finds her four friends are not as willing to blindly follow her every whim as they once were. Besides feeling the pressure from Alison, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer are also feeling under the microscope at school with the high school focusing their attention on the Liars. While most kids are morbidly curious about what happened to Ali, some are more focused on planning for Ali's return to school. Meanwhile, Aria's depression continues to spiral, and she looks for comfort from an unlikely source.

Pretty Little Liars fate revealed!

ABC Family revealed on Tuesday (June 10) that the smash hit drama/thriller, Pretty Little Liars, has been renewed for both a sixth AND seventh season! So don't worry, little liars, you'll have PLL until at least early 2017! I'm intrigued to see what kind of antics and mischief A will get up to throughout the next 3 seasons!

EscApe From New York: episode recap!

Season 5 of Pretty Little Liars premiered last night (June 10), with the first episode titled 'EscApe From New York'. In my opinion, this episode was the best season premiere so far, beginning right where the season four finale left off, the episode gave so many answers - and revelations! So I'm writing a quick/kind of brief recap for you guys. 

Melissa's secret from the season four finale is still a secret, although she wants to tell Detective Holbrook about it. But of course, Mr Hastings is not going to let that happen - he says that Mrs Hastings doesn't need to know about it either. But what IS the secret she isn't allowed to tell anybody? We still don't know. 

Mona is far from happy about Alison's return, in fact she's so UNhappy that Alison and the girls' faces are all over the news that she created some sort of anti-Alison army. Her 'army' includes Lucas (Yes, Lucas is back!), Melissa and plenty of others that have been targeted by Alison at some point in the past. Mona did try to enlist Paige into her 'little' scheme, although - as far as we know - she refused.

Ezra is alive. Yes, liars, you read that right! Ezra IS alive. After he got shot, Aria and Alison headed to the hospital to try to see if they could find out who A is, once and for all - and to make sure he's alive and well (under the circumstances), obviously. And we also found out who shot him. Shana, Ali's helper, is indeed A, and the person who shot Ezra on the rooftop. 

Bye bye, Cece! Ali's old friend, Cece Drake, escaped police custody and went to New York to find the girls, but mainly Alison. After a heartwarming speech to Alison about how they always find their way back to eachother, it was time for Cece to run off to board a plane - using the passport and plane ticket Noel bought Ali in the season four finale. It was also revealed that Cece was never actually Redcoat, but Alison asked her to wear it to distract A while she turned the sawmill off to save Emily in Ravenswood. So really, Alison AND Cece saved Emily's life. 

Shana's face-off with the girls. After receiving a phone call from Detective Holbrook at the Fitzgerald Theatre where Alison and the girls were staying, and tipping the police off to where they were - silly Alison, answered the phone! The girls were about to grab their stuff and run, when Shana - armed with a gun - sprung an attack on them. Finally stating her reason for doing everything - it was some twisted idea of justice for Jenna - Shana threatened to shoot the girls, when Aria came to the rescue, and whacked her round the head causing her to fall of the stage, and die. Yes, Shana is dead.

PLL RETURNS TODAY!

Road Between - Lucy Hale

So, as I'm sure most people know, Lucy Hale's debut album (Road Between) was released on Tuesday, June 3. I absolutely LOVE the album - I think it's so great, she did an amazing job! 

I don't usually like country music, but I really love Lucy's album, it has the perfect balance of different types of songs and, if I'm honest, it's one of the best albums I've heard! My favourite songs from the album are: Red Dress, Kiss Me and, of course, You Sound Good To Me. 

I have a feeling this album will be one of my personal favourites this summer!

Meanwhile, suspicions rise about Jessica DiLaurentis' disappearance when Kenneth begins searching for her and Jason starts acting odd.'
